Navarro - who was one place behind Mandy - is 1st and only seed in qualies, - so hopefully Mandy got into the MD confuse

Annunciata De-Souza has got past BYE into QR2 -  hopefully she's on a march wink

Annuciata won the ladies title at my tennis club in South East London. She's got great groundstrokes but I fear she has attempted to join the tennis profession a bit too late on in life. She recently moved to Barcelona to focus on tennis full time but I can't see her being a world beater.

And if there is anything better than seeing Mandy return in the singles, it is seeing her return with Alice Savoretti in the doubles. Alice has been out for even longer than Mandy. Her losing first round qualifier match last week was her first since March 17, and this week she is not entered in the singles at all. A golden oldie pairing, but they face another unseeded pair first round, winner to play the top seeds in the QF.
