Completely forgot about Harriet playing here, thought it was Wirral next. Rueffer is one of the highest ranked non seeds in the draw and is at a career high, plus has had some good recent wins including the top seed here PBG (twice) and Schoofs (Weijers), but hopefully last week was the start of a good recovery and she builds on that here. It's someone ranked mid 400's or a 500 odd qualifier if she comes through this.

Think Beth has the highest non seed, but she obviously could have drawn a seed.

Well that was some battle. Beth was 0-4 in the second set, but took the last 6 games, although she had to save 3 BP in the final game, and won it on her 3rd MP.
There was a MTO at *5-4 though - presumably for Melnikova.

Harriet *4-3, but both struggling to hold serve. 5 breaks already.

She has just held to 30 though, so 5-3*.
