Jack must be gutted to have to miss the entire grass season. But he's a wip and still young. Already he's done well and in time no doubt will go further. Let's just wish him well and come back when fit and well.

Jack has entered the Winnipeg challenger on the 14th August. So looks like he should be back in a few weeks.

 Does look that way, DC Manchester after that where he now surely merits a start. Fingers crossed for fitness in the coming weeks and the Winnipeg restart. I had searched the same news from random site regarding Winnipeg entry.

Jack isn't alone in having taken a big drop. Just noticed that his NextGen nemesis Nakashima is now ranked 123. Don't know if it's another injury story.

From an ITF report in September this year about Hannah Klugman and the US Open Juniors, just a little shout out to Jack for being 'a good sort'

"While Klugman said she hasnt ever spoken to Raducanu or other young British female players like Katie Boulter, she did get to have lunch here in New York with Jack Draper, who reached the third round of the mens singles.

He was lovely, explaining to me about life in pro tennis, how to prepare, what to expect, Klugman said. It was really helpful."
