Uchiyama is the player with quite beautiful volleys that played DC against GB a couple of years ago, and together with Joe's partner from last week Ben Mclachlan beat Bruno and Jamie in the final to win the title here last year.

v interesting score, took me by surprise although Uchiyama clearly has played well in this event before. But great win for Joe, will give him a new CH ranking; Jamie goes back into top 10 as well but that will probably be scant consolation.

Wonder when Jamie last lost to a fellow Brit?
