The MTO may have had something to do with it (there two DFs, I think, in that last game).

But it's also a bit just George - seen it several times.

Decent enough effort though....

To all intents & purposes, yes, though it's part of what's known as "overseas France" (la France d'outre-mer), being an island in the Indian Ocean, between Madagascar & Mauritius, which holds the status of a DROM (département et région d'outre-mer, "overseas department & region") rather than part of metropolitan France (the mainland).
