On the 2nd link I posted there is a link to an OOP for Saturday, under the health & safety section. Downloads a pdf. It shows Brydan as in a semi final for the 1-4 sports against Li Tu. The other semi final is Marc Polmans against Tom Fancutt.

As he didn't show up in either challenger qualifying in Australia I had a little look and found an Instagram account of his. Looks like he is doing junior coaching out in Aus. Not sure if he's retired or not. But certainly seems to be coaching.
