Very well done to Katarzyna, that is the first time she's come through qualifying this year, in this, her sixth attempt
She managed it once in 2016, and twice in 2017.
Now to work on a second main draw win, to match her best run, from Tacarigua earlier in the year where she was DA.

Soumeya sufficiently well recovered from whatever ailied her in the singles to renew a profitable partnership in the doubles, one hopes. Well, they won their last tournament together

The undefeated streak came to an unexpected end. Perhaps the ailment was sufficient to impede optimum performance, who knows. Not a memorable week for Soumeya this, then.
