Good to see that Mandy is entering tournaments - still on three lists today, but only at around alt 28 or lower. But they are 60k/25k/25k tournaments, so hardly surprising that she hasn't made qualifying, and neither has Emily Arbuthnott, who is just a few places above her in each.
Tiffany William has made the main draw at Badenweiler.
The Pitaks are in qualifying at Trieste.
Four girls are in the qualifying list in Portugal, and another in Tunisia
Fran Jones is the highest ranked entry in Hungary.
Tunisian qualifying has two British entrants currently - Anna Popescu, who needs one more counter to get a ranking, and Helena Jansen Figueras
The Portuguese qualifying includes Emilie Lind (no Gallagher here), who also needs one more counter for a ranking.
The Spanish draw has one 17yr old 'Brit' whose name I really love - Jizel MATOS SEQUEIRA FERNANDES
Katy Dunne and Beth are both back in training, having had short holidays, as part of their year's schedule.
It'll be interesting to see where that schedule takes them, and the other British women, for the remainder of the year. Do they stay in Europe and return to the carpets of Obidos, or head to the "big" money tournaments in North America or Australia.
I would expect Beth to stay in Europe most of the time, but Katy will probably do her Australian tour again in the New Year. Will have to wait and see what they do in the autumn though.
In Montreux for next week, Tara is now 5th on the Q list, but lower down Emily Arb has risen to 7th in the Alt list and Mandy C to 12th. In terms of total entries the MD and Q draw both have 32 entries, and in total Mandy is now 60th on the entry list. Suggests that if both she and Emily do appear that they should be able to get into qualifying, even if a few Q WCs are handed out to Swiss players below Mandy (which include Sandy Marti).
At Monastir, Anna Popescue is now Q1 and Helena Jansen Figueras is Q3, so they both should get into the main draw. (Only 19 in the main draw list and 20 in the Q list !)
Gabi has long gone from the Zagreb entry list she is still shown on here, but interesting to see that she has now popped up on the entry list of the Canberra 25k week 38 (17 Sept), so it seems she will next reappear on her happy hunting grounds of earlier this year.

Mandy is going to Montreaux
