For some reason, his name didn't come up on the ATP site when I checked it earlier & I didn't trust the ITF site to have updated the rankings.

Do you know for certain that he calls himself "Ed"?

There's an old write-up from Surrey tennis team which refers to him as 'Ed'.

More than that I don't know but I went with it....

He's definitely on the ATP ranking site in the GB list of players, ranked 1787. He's been there since Monday but maybe didn't come up individually for some reason. His ITF site has it too.
