Head to head

0-5

Andy has lost 2 sets to Nick in the 5 times they have met. Last meeting Wimbledon 2016, Murray winning 7-5, 6-1, 6-4. I remember that match, the 2nd set was a tank job. That said I think Nick has beaten Andy in the Hopman Cup or something like that.

Jay would have been better off playing Ilkley

I may be being pessimistic here but when I saw Andy v Krygios, I thought, who will be the first to retire injured. Let's hope I am wrong.

Yes, off to the bookies to check the odds on this one! Both maybe?

Told that Andy Murray v Nick Kyrgios almost certain to be played on Tuesday afternoon.

Was rather optimistically hoping that match might be delayed until Weds. Any rain forecast?

Do R1 matches get played as late as Weds if weather good? Surely that is R2 matches at that point. No R1 byes in a 500.

Won't lie, bit gutted as at Queens on Monday but hopefully some other GB men will play the Monday and will experience some good matches!

Guessing that scheduling Andy for Tues afternoon has more to do with the fact that Kyrgios is still in Germany, where he has just taken the 1st set off Federer.
