Of all the incredibly annoying occurrences, Katie B and Gabi are not only drawn in the same q section, but will actually play each other in the QR2 if they both win their first matches. On rankings Katie had the more difficult match, but both are certainly winnable for the Brits. Neither though has exactly been warming up on clay.
QR1: Katie BOULTER (GBR) 166 vs Mariana DUQUE-MARINO (COL) [q7] 113 (CH:66 Oct 15)
QR1: Gabi TAYLOR (GBR) 184 vs Jing-Jing LU (CHN) 177 (CH:159 Jan 18)
Oh, and there is no live draw on the French Open website, which as noted in the men's section is totally awful at the moment. Through tortuous means you can find the OOP for tomorrow, which neither of these matches is on... but on googling it I found the draw on Wikipedia...
Naomi appears to be in Manchester, and Harriet in Paris (according to Instagram). But neither are in the qualifying draw. Wonder if Harriet is hoping for a last minute alt spot in qualifying

Well with a bit of guesswork at the URL, I found a list of the players, main draw and qualifying all as one, and Naomi is on the entry list at 120.
That list includes everybody under the sun, including doubles players at the end.
Yes, pretty much everyone ! One day in the distant future, RG may actually publish the qualifying draw on their website - probably along with the main draw.
RG is getting a lot of hate on social media about the confusion over where to find...anything on their website.
All of our top women - Jo, Naomi, Anna and Heather are playing doubles or at least are on the entry list.
I'm not surprised the website is getting a load of stick - makes you wonder how much someone was paid to create this. At this point it is the worst I have ever encountered but if they can sort it out in the coming days then fine but it should never have started like this.
To be fair, the slams or tennis or someone somewhere decided not to use IBM anymore -so it's probably that.
I hate the WTA website, can never find what I want on it. The ATP one is much better, esp for in play scores. Otherwise I just Google the tournament to bring up the scores and results.
