Most of the internet thinks she is American, so perhaps an ITF mistake...

A bit of research leads me to believe that Sashi is in fact from the US, and trains at the academy at Oeiras. She is either 15 or 16, not certain which.

She seems to have been the best under 12 in the middle states of USA three years ago. So she is either American or her family is from the UK and has returned here.

 Apologies for the bum steer on Sashi disbelief. I was sure I'd checked the new names on the LTA site when I saw her down as an Alt - getting old.

Was just about to post that Sashi result, looks like she just turned 15 a week ago so maybe one to watch. Mind, it looks like Carvalho's last match was a 0 and 1 defeat to Emilie LG. Plays the #2 seed Herrero next.
