All the GB women have managed to avoid each other first round this week. BUT they are all in the top half of the draw and will potentially meet in all the next rounds. At least they avoid Ksenia Lykina early this week, who is in the bottom half of the draw. Laura is missing as noted in the Wuhan thread, but Katie B is still there, despite being in Roland Garros qualifying next week. Same goes for Naomi of course.

Good draws first up, especially for Tara. Maybe she has the latest local qualifying tournament winner first up. Kajitani does have a doubles ranking in the 350s however. Fantastic new CH for Katie, good performance this week and she will stay near to it next.

In doubles, Naomi and Asia Muhammad are playing together again and are top seeds, following up on their victory together last week.
Tara Moore and Amra Sadikovic are also playing together again and are 3rd seeds. They will play a Q pair, but there are strong options there including Abbie Myers + Josephine Cako, Laura's partner from last week.
Finally Katy D is playing with Abigail Tere-Apisah (PNG), to diversify further the countries from which we've drawn partners.
Pity re Katie B but hopefully nothing too serious. She had a big week last week, maybe just a twinge or not feeling well, with no obvious big fall away in scoring and then retiring at the end of a set rather than at some sudden point during the course of a set.
Katy D up and down and currently up again, 6-3 1-6 *3-0
