Absolutely incredible, as is the fact that despite the fact that she is sitting on 9 pts now, she is going to have to win the tournament in order to gain a ranking. Scholsen has won pretty comfortably all week, but hasn't faced a fellow seed and won today through a retirement. Come on Emma, just one more to go now.... smile

A 15K title leading to a top 900 ranking and GB #23 would be not a bad week's work

So people should be paying her attention. I'm still really disappointed that Emilie LG didn't play here too this week, since I think she could easily have got that third counter she needs. As it is I see she is popping up on entry lists elsewhere in the next few weeks, but since, even with 6 WTA pts, she has absolutely no status and is at the bottom of all these lists. Blob mentioned security in Tiberias earlier as a potential issue, but nah, if you are in Israel that's not where you need to be worrying.

However, it would be fantastic to at least get one new counter on board, so banking on you tomorrow Emma to crash the party...
