This is a big shame for Ola, it is a weak field and would have been a good opportunity for her to add to her points counters. She needs another counter by mid-June otherwise she will lose her ranking then. She is not going to get that counter here.

No, as previously discussed she just likes islands. And so far the Skye tournament still hasn't got off the ground

On the island this week it should be noted that Emily is the #1 seed in doubles as well as singles. In doubles she is partnering she of the many names, Maria Jose PORTILLO RAMIREZ (MEX), with whom Emily won at least one 15k doubles title at the end of last year.

As expected the Pitak sisters are also playing together, up against an UNR WC pair, so they should have a good chance of progressing there.
