I messaged Jonny yesterday after his loss on instagram. He told me this was always the plan, however they might withdraw yet because he doesnt know the extent of the injury to his back

This doubles comp is really weak. I've never heard of Kieran MacArthur and Scott Duncan struggles to get through ITF qualifiers.
Henry and Macaulay are also unknowns

 Yes, but we've certainly heard of JC and Jared. 

They're not chopped liver.

So the guys did very well to get past them.

I must admit that I'd never heard of Kieran Macarty let alone some MacArthur fellow. But that does look a very good win with Scott Duncan.

just back from glasgow. scott and kieran played very well and defiantly deserved the win. Watching it you woudn't have been able to tell who were the player with the world rankings and those who were both unranked. the crowd got right behind them in the tiebreak. (also the boys kept smiling throughout the match and were enjoying the occasion (ps was this kierans first pro match?)

 

grannoles and olaso looked good too, specially olaso he had some nice touches and grannoles hitting a through the legs lob winner from the back of the court at one point!
