It's welcome to see Kyle and Cam play together. Maybe not only DC but match practice as well.

I believe Hewitt is playing with young up and coming De Minaur.

He is.  They've been awarded one of the two wild cards.

Just noticed something interesting, too:  John Peers is the top seed playing alongside Jean-Julien Rojer!  No sign of Henri Kontinen...

Hewitt is a legend.

Maybe Kontinen wanted a break or is injured? Hasn't Bruno played without Jamie before?

He tweeted that he hopes to make a few more appearances this year as well.

He'll probably get a Queen's wild card ahead of our dubs guys.

First ATP DA for Joe.

Well Hewitt is a former champion at Queens and is a bigger draw than some GB players. Makes sense to give him a WC

You think people will buy tickets just because he's playing doubles?

No...I think with people with a ticket - like myself - would enjoy seeing Hewitt. But I wouldn' buy one just for him!!

Fair enough - I would enjoy seeing him as well, he was my favourite player growing up.

And the singles main draw finally emerges:

L32:  Cameron Norrie WR 103 (= CH) vs (6) Robin Haase (NED) WR 44 (CH = 33 in July 2012)

L32:  (3) Kyle Edmund WR 23 (= CH) vs BYE

Kyle will play Gastão Elias or Alex de Minaur (WC) in the second round.

Hm...Haase. Good on his day, bit temperamental at times.

Actually very smart of Kyle not to play Barcelona given the bashing Nadal has given everyone so far. Hopefully he can go on a wee run here.

I wonder if Kyle and Cam might be thinking of teaming up in Doubles at the French Open? There combined singles would probably gain them entry.
