L16:  Liam Broady & Scott Clayton CR 641 (513+128) vs Kevin Krawietz & Andreas Mies (GER/GER) CR 255 (107+148)

The winners of those two matches will meet in the quarter-final.

 Krawietz beat Luke and Jonny in the Mexico city final last week,  so could be a tough opponent 

 

Junaid and Pel (who's played with Scott recently) also have a decent doubles pedigree. Neither of these matches will be easy.

Kolar served for the match at 4-5* in the third after breaking Liam, but Liam broke back and held. Now 6-5*

It's been a cracking watch to be fair.

Number 2 seed is out double breadstick so Liam wont meet a player in the top 200 until Semis minimum. Good chance for points to maintain his ranking and give him practice on clay. Im assuming by the selection of tournaments its damage limitation on the clay and any points is an added bonus with maybe an outside chance of winning a round or 2 at qualies for French Open.
