Week 14 - ATP Challenger ($50,000+H) - Panama Tennis Cup, Panama City (clay)

L32:  Pedja Krstin (SRB) WR 208 (CH = 159 in May 2016) vs Jay Clarke WR 265 (CH = 219 last December)

And if Jay gets through that one, he'll almsot certainly face the top seed, Dusan Lajovic, in the last 16...  cry

It's good to see Jay playing this series of central America clay vents, with Mexico next week as well. Will be great for his game and toughness

If he gets beyond the L16, that will be a major achievement. Solid draw for Jay this week!

Surprised he isnt playing doubles again!

top quarter opened up as someone beat the 5th seed, so no seeds left in that quarter.

Jay started well *3-1

Serve not bad so far, 88% first serves in, 100% serve points won.

I should have known better than to start watching on live stream. Jay hardly won a point in the last couple of games. Back on serve with Jay leading 4-3*. I have turned my live stream off now Jay, so you can start winning again if you want.

Maybe my fault for mentioning him not losing a point on serve

Just switched back over and see he broke again and has taken the set 7-5, no idea what he broke to though.

The mass turn off clearly worked as Jay took the opening set 7-5.
