Tough these Italy 25Ks in that the seeds in particular are likely going to be better ranked than in your average 15K and you are likely to have to beat a seed to get to the QFs.

Single points are not increasing Billy's ranking score just now ( he has a full quota of 18 counters ) so he needs futures QFs or better to improve that score.

But then again the 25K points ( and money of course ) are better as you progress. Hope his ambition can pay off more.

Was tough indeed   

I make it that Billy has competed in 33 futures in the last year. The Billy-van certainly travels about although finds a settled location for a few weeks at times like here.

He will be on 39 points on Monday week, level on points with Ryan Storrie as GB #13 & 14, probably in the 640s in the world rankings. Steady upward progress in the rankings for both, though plateaued a bit in the first few months of this year and it would help push forward again to have big weeks at some stage.
