Maia up a break.
I saw Piter at Shrewsbury and she looked a top player, but things seem to have gone downhill recently.

Q1: MOORE, Tara (GBR) 470 def SADIKOVIC, Amra (SUI) 8 306 7-5 6-2
Q1: LUMSDEN, Maia (GBR) 452 lost to PITER, Katarzyna (POL) 378 4-6 3-6

Q2: MOORE, Tara (GBR) 470 v RADWANSKA, Urszula (POL) WC 531 CH=29 2012

That was a good win by Tara after losing twice before to Amra. Radwanska lost to Ella Taylor earlier in the year so is not the force she used to be.

Very pleased. Desperately want something good to happen on court for Tara.

Sad to seek that Sadikovic has fallen so far too - a lovely, unusual game to watch.

Great win for Tara though! biggrin

Running into Ula on a qWC disbelief

Tara can't get any purchase on the Radwanska serve, 2-6

Tara solved the problem of Ula's serve
Can she get back into it now? 2-6 *1-0

It looks as if Urszula has recovered some of her old form at just the wrong time.

Maybe inspired by Aga's resurgence in Miami.

Bother. I haven't followed Tara for some time now, so can someone enlighten me as to why she's so far down the rankings. I was following her at the sort of time she was playing Shrewsbury with Jo, so quite a few years ago.
