The q1 is Roberto Carballes.  There are only two rounds.

 Carballes out first round!

I won't flood the thread with too much more non direct Brit stuff, but Kypson came back to win that game and took the first set 6-4. He's still the 7/4 outsider despite that first set in the bag.

I think Kypson did ok in Irving last week as a qualifier.

Edit - just checked,  he lost round 1 to Fratangelo straight sets. Fancy cam to win easily.

Indeed he has. Norrie wins 6-1 2-0r

Pushes Norrie up to 102 in running. Hard to know if this was good or down to the injury, welcome nonetheless

Kypson wins 6-4, 6-3. Great win for him, I swear he was about 1/14 or something.

And with nothing to come off before June our Davis Cup dirt baller is pushing his ranking into likely French Open main draw territory.

8 points so far included in that live ranking. He will add at least a futher 18 if he beats Kypson in the FQR and contests the MD R1.

If Liam wins FQR he should beat his CH ranking. Ditto cam, whowill go top 100. A lot to play for.

Great start by both Brits, agreed wins in the next series of matches would give them both a bit of momentum, again the DC cup experience has really benefitted them both, perhaps instilling a bit of belief that they really belong at a level consistent with being in the top 100. Cam is roaring off in that general direction and hopefully will be excited about the clay court season.

Liam I would love to see him nudge and nurdle his way into the top 100 and hanging in there for 3 or 4 years. My gut feeling is it will happen. Best of Luck to both in the next round

Kyle has got Kicker or Tiafoe in R2, and Aljaz has got Donskoy in R1, both decent early draws.
