I am always suspicious when the threads start getting lots of pages in a short amount of time. It either means something is going badly or very well.

One positive in 2018 fo Naomi, amongst not much, is that she has generally won a match when taking the first set (4-1); hoping that can be true now, with some comeback.

Katie just needs to hold the line (*Toto starts playing*) the way she showed she could close out these matches, in USO qualies

Naomi loses final set 6-3. Such a poor run now. Dodin was higher ranked and the top seed in this segment but has had a massive injury lay off recently so was probably there for the taking. Not sure where she goes from here.

Better news is that KB comes back from 0-30 to win the next 4 points to lead 5-2* in the 2nd set and has 3 chances to win the match now, one on serve.

Jana Fett was coincidentally in this same position of 5-2* in the second set earlier today and went on to lose the set and then retire in the decider, so not counting chickens just yet.
