Play resumes and Dodin immediately breaks. A bit poor having a physio mid game mind, I know if Broady was serving for the match it may have been different, but if you need a physio then surely you'd just see the game out even if you conceded it? Very stop start match this one.

The danger with the break is that Space Cadet Oceane (a frequent visitor - good to play against, beats herself) has a chance to exit and be replaced by 'boom, boom' Oceane (infrequent, but deadly - hits you off court).
Always hope to see the former, and not the latter. Rarely do they both make an appearance in the same match, unless there's a break...
Had it not rained, Naomi might have rolled easy. Now, Boom Boom might be in effect.

Naomi really should have won that match in Quebec City.

Hmm, a decent start for Katie but the tide seems to be turning. There was at least 2 deuces on Taylor's first service game, then Katie held to 15 and there was another deuce in TT's second serve, but it's been mainly TT the last couple of games. 4-1*, although just the one break in it.

Boulter takes Townsend to another deuce, but again TT holds, 5-2*. Broady breaks back so 4-4 there in the 2nd set.

My Bet365 scores page has stopped working, or is no longer showing these 2 matches, but KB back at 5-5 now in the first set and Dodin has unfortunately just taken the 2nd set 7-5 so into a decider there.
