Yes! KB takes it with her 2nd match point. KB wins 3-6 7-6 6-2. Might not be her highest ranking victory, but that's got to be a career best and most important win to date.

Done far better than most would have expected already, but there are a couple of Q vs Q spots in the first round, so who knows? Great experience for her whatever happens from now and that place in the top 200 which was looking threatened will be massively boosted now. Can't wait to watch her in the main draw!

It's a lousy few extra points, but of course, so much more than that.
It's the first time Katie has ever qualified at a WTA event. It will also be her first ever MD match in any WTA Tour event.
Oh, and $15.6K guaranteed.
