Doubles draw up first and Emily has yet another partner, and I think she's collecting partner countries as well as playing countries. This time she's with Valeria Bhunu (ZIM), and they are the top seeds with a bye into the second round.
Emily will get a singles seeding too, when the singles draw comes out.
Emily is having a really tough battle against the Filipino qualifier. I must admit all credit to her since it suggests that she is probably a promising player restricted by the economics of competitive play. Emily kept failing to hold her serve after securing breaks in the second set, but eventually wins on the TB.
Well done Emily, stringing a bit of form and results together now

I often do this with her, also; Quirine Lemoine is in fact Dutch. I do the reverse in the mens with Kenny de Schepper: I presume he's Dutch, but he's actually French.
