She is based at Berkhamsted Elite Tennis Academy (BETA), and has been so for a couple of years, so presumably yes her family does have some money. Her twitter feed makes it clear she supports Arsenal but otherwise doesn't provide much information.

Well yes, especially as next week her ranking will be back up to 615 for the reason you've provided, and which again would have made her the 7th seed here.
