Maybe not bad to get a couple of qualifying matches in. Probably more the matches than the massive 3 points if he qualifies.

De Schepper beat the q5, Moriya, in straight sets in QR2.

No, de Schepper is not a qwc. Indeed there are 12 QR1 byes so not sure why even Bresson ( and another Frenchman ) needed a wc. Challenger qualifying can be very variable. Tough and many cry that they should get points for winning qualifying rounds apart from the FQR but it can be much easier too and quite often draws are not filled up.

Joffrey is Kenny's younger brother.
