Week 6 - ITF ($15K) - Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Hard

An extremely tough draw this week for Emily in the singles, since although she is seeded she is playing the runner up from last week. Em will have to hope for some fatigue.

L32: Emily WEBLEY-SMITH (GBR) [7] 543 vs Nadja GILCHRIST (USA) [WC] UNR (CH:397 Oct 15)

In the doubles Emily has yet another partner, Kat her fellow winner from last week having moved on. This week Em is playing with Anastasia Pribylova and they are again top seeds.

L16: Emily WEBLEY-SMITH/ Anastasia PRIBYLOVA (GBR/RUS) [1] 745 (270+475) vs Federica ARCIDIACONO/ Giorgia PINTO (ITA/ITA) 1986 (673+1313)

Having played 8 singles matches last week, let's hope that she is feeling the effects !

Well done. Em though can't increase her doubles ranking points total in a 15K since last week's title 12 points is now her lowest counter and she has nothing to come off until 25K title points come off in May.

Useful start from EWS. She actually had 40-0* in the last game, and 5 total BP in it, but couldn't secure the double break, *3-1

Only that 1 break in it, and 7 points difference; good start, behind solid serving, Emily, 6-3

Only 1 BP gained and won so far in this third set so far, and that to Emily. Two games from home. 6-3 4-6 *4-3
