Following up on a decent (if very tight win) yesterday against Reymond (about 590 or so in the world), at the exhibition event in France, George has now just beaten the world ATP 395 player, Slobodchikov, in two relatively easy sets.

Go, George !

George lost to Escoffier, (ranked top 400 and pretty experienced) in two sets, yesterday.

But has just absolutely kicked butt to beat Gabriel Petit (ranked about 500), 1 & 1.

That's three good wins and one loss at this French UTR event - so excited to see how well he's playing. Was devastated when it was reported that little fave was giving up....... (well, maybe not devastated, on a global scale, but definitely disappointed!)

Happened to catch sight of this result in the French UTR series:

George Loffhagen WR 966 (CH = 687 in December 2018) defeated Pedro Cachín (ARG) WR 372 (CH = 166 in September 2015) by 3 & 3  biggrin

Another good 'un!

Brill, SC.

And this morning he added an even better one (just) to his list.

George beat Aziz Dougaz, ATP 360, 6-2 4-6 10-6

Doing well, our lad

Any news of any more exploits by George that say could make him a player of the month nominee?

And hes winning them at a canter as well. Are these on clay?

As far as I can tell, they're being played on hard courts.

Sadly, the Argentine had his revenge earlier, but only just:

Pedro Cachín (ARG) WR 372 defeated George Loffhagen WR 966 by 6-3 4-6 [14-12]  hmm

However, he went on to beat Thomas Laurent (WR 477/CH = 471 in March) by 0 & 3  biggrin

Just wondering if anyone knows what's happening with him? Much touted a few years ago but now seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, unless I've missed something.
