Would you Adam & Eve it?

L32:  Chung Hyeon (KOR) WR 58 (CH = 44 last September) vs Kyle Edmund WR 50

Head-to-had now 2-0 in Kyle's favour...  John Isner (4) lies in wait for the winner.  hmm

Are we going to have any fit players left for the Aussie Open?

It was being reported by Stuart Fraser on Twitter earlier that Kyle has withdrawn "as a precaution" and should be fine for the AO. Here are his two tweets.

Kyle Edmund withdraws from Auckland after right ankle injury sustained on Friday in Brisbane.

Good news is that Edmund has withdrawn from Auckland as a precautionary measure and is expected to be fit for the Australian Open.

From the Tennis Diary in today's Times:

Edmund injury scare

Kyle Edmund is expected to be fit for the Australian Open despite pulling out of this week' ASB Classic in Auckland. The 22-year-old British No 2 sustained a right ankle injury during his quarter-final match in Brisbane last Friday and has decided to rest for a few more days as a precautionary measure. After Andy Murray's withdrawal, Edmund is the only British male in the main draw in Melbourne. Cameron Norrie and Liam Broady will try to earn entry this week through qualifying.

The article is factually inaccurate.  As of today, Kyle is 23 years old wink

Happy Birthday Kedders.

that is disappointing although maybe a point or two either way and we would have had a different perspective. Thin lines in the MTB scoring system

Yes, certainly not the result they wanted but very close against a similarly ranked pair.

Dom will need at least one win in the AO fortnight ( L16 180 points last year ) or he will certainly drop below Neal S in the rankings.

Hope to see both scoring good points !
