Mark1968 wrote in the other thread - In the first tour event of 2018 (Tier 2 at Graves), amazing as we are not quite there yet, Jack Findel-Hawkins defeats Sean Hodkin in the final by 6-3, 6-2.
In Bath this week, at the Tier 1, Liam Broady is into the quarters.
Jack Mackinlay has taken out the Colombian pesky Juan Sebastian Gomez, ATP 782 (ex 469) which is an excellent result.
Jack Findel-Hawkins has also taken care of Irish youngster, Simon Carr, ranked ATP 892, which is also very pleasant.
(NB I do think that Carr is slightly overranked.....)
The full QF line-up is:
Liam v Adam Jones
Luke Johnson v (q) Tiarnan Brady
Mason Recci v Jack Findel-Hawkins
James Mackinlay v Samm Butler
Don't know if this is worrying in terms of Liam and injury, or it just means that he has better tennis places to be, but Liam has withdrawn from his QF.
In the others, Jack F-H has beaten Mason. And Samm B beat James Mackinlay. Luke J also won when Brady retired.
