To say the least, Jo & Eli are infrequent doubles exponents; they lose the first set to the Dutch pair that play doubles every event (and for Schuurs is her sole pursuit), 2-6

Two very ropey opening services from Johanna; serving at >85% but there's none of the usual penetration or placement.
Tomljanovic had chances for a deserved 0-3 lead, but Jo held on, 1-2*
