I agree, it is highly possible. She will find the going a bit tougher in the following two 25k's though - listed near the top of the qualifying lists right now, so might scrape into the main draws.
That's a great result from Sam, and she has put out the highest seed remaining in the draw, as the #1, 3 and 4 seeds have already gone. This really does give Sam a good opportunity now but the Thai girl is not to be sniffed at. She is only 19 yrs old, has a JCH 35 from Jan 16, and put out the #3 seed today. It should be a good SF match up.
Another good win, Sam marches on. With no points to defend until April, and a few single-pointers in there, she has a good opportunity to climb a few places with these three Indian tournaments. Udvardy was on the same number of points as Tara, so Sam has around 40 points to make up to catch them.
The girl Sam just beat, Panna, is the youngster who trains at Soto and is always on their twitter feed and facebook page. She's just turned 19 and was JCH 15, and she has certainly got Soto excited (although I suppose it depends who else you have in your stable at the time), winning 15ks and then moving up to a consistent QF sort of finish in 25ks etc. (She beat Jodie and Katie S back at Edgbaston). But Sam always had a very good chance - didn't see the bookies but wouldn't be surprised if Sam had been the favourite.
Don't know the other girl but, again, got to think Sam is favourite.
