L32: (Q) Mick Veldheer (NED) WR 1258 (= CH) vs (Q) Rob Carter WR 1867 L32: Ryan Peniston WR 947 (= CH) vs (5) Marco Bortolotti (ITA) WR 487 (CH = 355 in April last year)
QF: Rob Carter & Ryan Peniston CR 2719 (1354+1365) vs Aliaksandr Liaonenka & Daniel Tryantafyllou (BLR/GRE) UNR (1354+0)
The Greek is only 15, but he & his partner (aged 18) took out the third seeds by 2 & 2 in their first round match.
Ah, I figured something was amiss since the first and third seeds shouldn't be down to meet in the QF. The third seeds were at the next spot in the draw in the next match after the young Greek+ ( and won ). Though the ITF drawsheets are kind of misleading at a glance as to who is playing who.

Bugger! I'm very aware of the ITF's unfriendly format, yet I keep being caught out by it again & again - & again...
