Emily is playing again in the doubles this week, once again though with a different partner. Maria Fernanda HERAZO GONZALEZ of the 12 syllables and again #1 seeded singles player is playing with another Colombian this week, whilst Emily is matched up this time with the similarly long named Mexican Maria Jose PORTILLO RAMIREZ. Maria Jose is just a qualifier in the main singles draw, but is also only 18yrs, as is Emily, and reached JCH:43 in April 17. Emily and her partner are once again the 2nd seeds this week and play their first match Monday.

The doublesprogress continued on apace, however. Despite indications to the contrary, their opponents were unable to come back from the dead.

 I checked also. She was at Notre Dame but didn't have a particularly great college record. About 50-50 in terms of wins and losses.
