I assume if they both might have travelled but might have split once there as cut off is 255. So Jonny and Scott wouldn't have got in.Scott maybe got lucky on finding a partner but Jonny didn't?

Pity for Jonny. It will split their joint ranking, either Scott moves ahead again or I believe Jonny would go ahead having played fewer tournaments with the same number of points.
L16: Scott Clayton & Divij Sharan (IND) CR 225 (159+66) beat (2) Roman Jebavy & Adil Shamasdin (CZE/CAN) CR 117 (55+62) 6-4 7-6(4)
There goes Jonny's ranking parity.
More seriously though, if Scott can keep improving his ranking, it will aid them as a pair when they are trying to enter the higher ranked Challenger tournaments. So well played Scott +1.
