Harriet ended up winning the 1st set then went a break up in the 2nd at *1-0 and again at *3-2 after being broken back, only to lose 4 games in a row

A run of 3 breaks in the 3rd ended up with Hanatani *4-3 up and the Japanese player is now serving for the match ... but it's 0-40 ... 2 bps missed, but Harriet takes the 3rd!

6-4 3-6 *5-5

Harriet saves another break point (she has now saved 12 out of 20 and taken 8 out of 15) to lead 6-5* in the 3rd ... total points are 101-99 to Hanatani

Harriet did, at least, manage a win in the doubles. Thord seeds, with Ching Wen Hsu, they prevailed, 6-3 6-0
