If you include GB itself, in all-GB matches, then Guatemala becomes the 75th country to provide an opponent against which our players have played at least one professional match this year.
And... we have a winning record against them now
Ms. Burrage doing the business, in a competitive match, 6-4 6-4

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
I always thought she was from Guam, strangely Anglican name for someone from Guatemala but apparently it is correct
She seems to use only the 2nd part of her first name, Andrea, which is a fairly common name in Spanish-speaking countries - there's a Guatemalan TV clip about her here http://www.guatevision.com/2017/01/12/cartas-femeninas-del-tenis/ and her tennis life story at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP1FdVrRmmM, where it's pretty clear that she has lived in Guatemala all her life, though I can't find anything that explains why she has an anglophone surname but presumably she her father (or earlier ancestor on her father's side) was from an anglophone country.

It is actually a standard Spanish girl's name but the fact that Jodie's opponent today was born not long after the Atlanta Olympics (9 months, in fact), suggests that her parents probably were prompted to name her by the .. er .. song. Still, she must like the name herself or presumably she'd have dropped it by now.
