No, I have the same recollection, I am pretty sure from somewhere some time ago in the forum.

And indeed Dan hadn't been seen for a while but playing here and entered next week as well.

Yes, I remember that too.

I think it was Bob who posted it - he knows that group of players based in Spain pretty well.

Yes it was me. I think it was when I went to watch Alex Ward, who trained at the same Barcelona camp as Dan and one of the coaches told me he was going back into education. Perhaps, that didn't work out and as the academic year is over, he has decided to give tennis another go and not go back to college this Sept. But that aspèct is just speculation on my part.
