H2H is 1-2, all of them last year. In fact, it's a rematch of the same round here last year, when Sandgren won 7-6(4) 6-3, only to lose to then-2nd seed Tiafoe in the following round.

Looks like they've been having a lot of problem with the weather.

Currently suspended yet again.

But Luke B is leading 6-5*

Brydan lost the first set 2-6. But is 1-0* up in the second with a break point,

Luke also had his chances in the seventh game of the decider, when he was a break up!

Brits have proved rather successful in TBs tonight, what with Laura and Katie Swan too

Brydan's match is held over until tomorrow at the last score CD gave. They appear to only be playing on one court.

Good to see Luke taking advantage of his LL place and relatively kind draw - his H2H with Garin is 1-2, all in juniors in 2012-13.

Great win for Luke against last years NCAA singles champion, the creme de la creme of college tennis. There is very little difference in their ages both early 95 ers. It will be very interesting to see how their relative careers progress. Thai-son relatively under ranked because of his college commitments is in a wildcard and with his NCAA success and the USTA's commitment to college tennis will get thrown some juicey bones through the year.

All that said I don't thing he will ever reach the heights of being described as a Challenger player by Jaggy.

McKenzie McDonald is a step up in quality same age ie a 95 er but dropped out of UCLA after his junior year as a double NCAA champion singles and doubles. He was awarded a $100K grant by Oracle (Blackman the lead for USTA development is on the panel) to facilitate his transition along with Danielle Collins (ex Eastender sorry that was Michelle, ex Virginia) on the pro tour.

I think he will grind out a very decent living on tour and is probably Cams benchmark but in my view it is the really tall boys that gain most by following the college route, plenty of know how around managing conditioning of tall athletes on every campus, giving the Isners and Anderson an opportunity to have a top 30 presence.

Great win for Luke B - very pleased for him.

The 'tall' expertise should certainly help our Luke Hammond, then, who is one to watch at college this year at Oklahoma State (is that your alma mater, Oakie? )

PS Off on a bit of a tangent, I know, but good photo of Hammond sticking well up out of the crowd Britain does 'tall' too!

Too orange for me!

Agreed Luke is a big lad! He will likely be playing towards the top end of the roster with his JCH about 140, doesn't seem to have played much over the last 12 months. It seems like he is perfectly placed in terms of talent level to get the most out of being a Cowboy!

People from Oklahoma are known as Oakies and from my experience they all claim to be 1/32nd apache. However students are either Sooners or Cowboys.
