Even better if Fran could win at least another round to capitalise on this excellent result; being just one very fine win is nice enough, but really reap the rewards of opening up her section with a good week

Yes, that's what i feared - didn't she have a problem a couple of weeks back?

But a great result and, as you say, do hope she manages to recover (if needed) and get another good match or two under her belt to get the best out the win, points wise.
