This now moves Joss up to 77 in the live doubles rankings, ahead of Naomi (80) as GBR #2. Jessica is up to 111 in the live rankings. Anna now at #58. She and Nicole have had 3 first round losses since Wimbledon, so they have not built on their good run there.

Anna & Nicole also lost in R1 at Wimbledon though tough draw against Kuznetsova & Mladenovic. But certainly prior to Wimbledon they had very good series of results and points gathering. Hopefully they've only temporarily lost their mojo.

That's the biggest title of Joss's career so far (her 23rd overall, the other 22 led by Nottingham 75K 2014 and three 50Ks, all with Anna Smith), and of her partner's career so far

Great for Joss, may this be a start of an upward curve for them both... Joss now up to 75 (up 8) in live rankings and Jess 103 (up 14).

Happy that Joss has landed on her feet too. Jess Moore is a decent partner, and has experience of getting over the line and winning a WTA title (Bucharest last year) so hopefully she can help Joss bag her first one too.
