Aljaz having another crack at the doubles:

L16:  Aljaz Bedene & Gilles Simon (FRA) CR 1045 (707+338 - I assume they both got in on the strength of their singles rankings) vs Nikola Mektic & Andreas Siljeström (CRO+SWE) CR 135 (33+102)

Interesting with Aljaz's singles having been going so well that he feels the wish / need to diversify.

Dutra Silva has withdrawn so Aljaz is now scheduled to play a LL later today.

L32: (LL) Jose Hernandez-Fernandez (DOM) WR 250 (CH = 179 in August 2015) vs Aljaz Bedene WR 46 (CH = 45 in November 2015)

Aljaz is showing at a provisional live CH 44, now ahead of among others Kyle who drops 10 points this week, but still clearly very early in the week and Kyle and a few others can pass Aljaz. So might as well win a few matches to make sure

Ah I wondered why Aljaz's match had disappeared from the schedule. He appears to be playing first match tomorrow - 10am UK time.

Yes it was on today's schedule earlier. It's when I noticed that his opponent had changed.

Meantime that Edmund character has taken Aljaz's provisional CH away from him.

Efficiently done in singles and good effort in doubles.

Again Aljaz goes to a live CH, this time to 43, so Kyle will need at least one mate this time to deprive Aljaz of a new CH.
