Yes, a very interesting article thanks skibbariz! It's about a year old I see, and certainly explains Suzy's rather sudden appearance on the scene. It also illustrates why, as others have suggested, that she could probably do with some better coaching at this point to help her seek to reach the next level...

There was a lot of info about Suzy Larkin in the New Zealand newspapers a few months ago, about how she is 'based in Auckland' and won the Auckland Championships, and won the Wellington Open in December, and won the doubles, and a whole heap of other stuff. I assume these are sort of money tournaments.
But, whatever, it's good to hear that she's playing tennis and winning and doing well.

A belated congratulations to Suzy who won 3 back to back Kiwi Money Tournaments back in February and March which Tennis New Zealand were piloting this year.

There's something about the respective heights in those pictures... In the first Suzy towers over Elys Ventura, in the second Kelly Southwood seems about a foot taller than Suzy confuse

Ok, wondered if the heights were misleading, but no Kelly is 6ft, Elys 5ft 3 ins, so Suzy is somewhere around 5ft 7 ins probably.. The pictures just make it look like Suzy has shrunk in the second picture wink
