This gives a full list of events during the summer

As you can see, there's good prize money (£10k at the showcase event at Sutton) and it's great to see the option for competitive play.

Looks exciting - hope they post results and entry lists , presumably with that prize money it will get fields to equal the British Tour , maybe not quite the UK Pro League?

It's been going for a while - last year (or was it the year before???) they posted results, and tables, and pools, I seem to remember.

They target US college players, and would be college players, with their publicity (not exclusively, but the UTR ranking is an important part of it) so that's reflected in the entry lists

Finn Bass in playing in the Florida UTR event this week

Victoria Allen is also playing the UTR in Florida this week. Which will be interesting.

And 16 year-old Sarah Tatu is also playing the event in Barcelona

These events have prize money of £20k, I believe - which is a BIG payout (or even 25k, it's not clear)

I note that Finn Bass won his match yesterday. Juan P G Mazzuchi 6-7,3-6 Finn Bass

As did Vic Allen: Mary Closs 1-6,2-6 Victoria Allen

Not sure Sarah has played yet.

These events are all livestreamed too

In Florida, Finn Bass lost a heartbreaker, right at the end of the 3rd set.

But Vic Allen got another easy win, 2-6 4-6 over Carolyn Ansari

Young Sarah Tatu has lost all three of her matches in Barcelona, though

Quite a few players of note are playing in the UTR Progress Tour event at Hatfield

Alicia Barnett is there, as well as Alexis Canter, and Tiffany William (good to see her name again).

Also Josh Rose, Mike Shaw, Pete Alam and some youngsters like Jojo Bach and Daisy Chapman

In the women's draw, Lissey Barnett will play Katarina Stresnakova in the final

Jojo Bach won the consolation draw

3rd & 4th also play off (Tiff v Katherine Mansfield), and even the losers in the consolation play off - it certainly guarantees everyone the max of matches.

Men's is a few rounds behind

I think Finn Bass won too - I was watching a little - he was 5-1 up and when I looked again, the screen went blank (although one score site still has it as 5-1)

And in the UK UTR event, Alicia Barnett got hammered in the final:

FINAL

Katarina Stresnakova def. Lissey Barnet 6-2 6-2

The men's final will be Alexis Canter v Mike Shaw (both of whom won their semis in a MTB)

Excellent result for Vic Allen, in Florida, as she absolutely creamed the 18 year-old who is in the top 750

Vic Allen def. Viktoriya Kanapatskaya WTA 747 6-2 6-1

Vic lost to Raveena Kingsley and Alexandra Pisareva but then won against Broadfoot, Patre Hule, Ava Markham before losing to Maria Konova.

THe GB UTR event takes place in Woodford Wells Club (Essex) this week.

Winner £1k, finalist £500, SF £250, QF £125 (subject to getting 50 players - the list says they've got 51 ! )

Quite a few of our decent players taking part (surprised it's not more, really)

Toby Samuel, James Story, Mike Shaw are all there. Nice to see Marshall Tutu's name. Also Josh Rose, Pete Alam, and Matt Beecher.

Women play with men, and Tiffany William is there, and Nadia Rawson, and Stresnakova, as well as Jojo Bach, Erika Dodridge....
