Similar to the men I have set up a poll for the women.

This is even more open with the bookies and I have this time listed the current leading 10 in the odds, again in their seeding order.

I think the winner will have initials P and K.
I'd also say other has a good chance as well given what happened at the French.

I voted other for Sabine Lisicki in hope rather than expectation

Yes, my immediate thought was Pia Konig, too. But she's injured.

You could have just said that they'd be Czech but you've boldly narrowed it down to 3 Czechs! wink

I thought perhaps Paula Kania but she's outside the top 250 these days so didn't even get into qualies with a chance of a LL place!

Well... the forum's pick (and mine) is out in R64!
Well played Magdalena Rybarikova!

Our second choice also out in R64.
What pundits we are

Yes, only the Konta and Other options left. I discounted Pliskova despite all the obvious reasons to pick her because I just felt it's very difficult to go from regular 1st or 2nd round defeats to actually win the thing. I then abandoned that logic to pick Konta. But I don't see anyone as having a better chance.

That's over 80% of predictions over and out after R2.

Yes, just leaves 3 voters for Jo and possibly the one of the 2 'Other' voters that didn't declare.

Morning! Hope It's ok to post here - I'm thinking of queuing on Monday morning for a ground pass, and as it looks like good weather and there haven't been any rain delays, can anyone tell me whether most of the 4th round matches will be played on Monday? I'm guessing if it does it looks like some of the non ticketed courts like 3,18,12 may have singles matches on them? Would be great to see some of them!

Also looking forward to getting my oar in on some tennis chatter on this forum!

Welcome to the board Crispy! The second Monday is a great day for singles action. All 16 Men's and Women's R4 matches are scheduled, with Centre, Ct 1, 2, 3, 12 and 18 usually having at least two each. Normally most of the women's matches are first, because Tuesday is Women's QF day, and they don't want to risk a long match scuppering that plan.
