(It's weird/nice when you see the names of kids you knew when they were 8 year's old I think Florian's been in the US at college for the last couple of years. I'm sure he plays better than his ranking indicates - he's barely played any tournaments in the last twelve months. But still a good chance for Joel to get his year going....).
Joel is also seeded 4th in the doubles, playing with Spaniard Mascolo.
Florian has just finished his senior year with California, reaching #13 in the college rankings. He spent his first 2 years of college at Mississippi State where he partnered Julian Cash to #6 in the dubs rankings.
