I had spent the morning watching 'In Which We Serve', and then parts of the Graf/Novotna final.

They aren't playing together at the French. Anna is a few slots outside the cut with Madison Brengle

They won 6-0, 6-2, which flatters their opponents slightly.

Looks like a really good team.

Playing like that, they could win WTAs together, and certainly get a ranking high enough for Slam seedings.

Together they would have basically been the last direct entrant, so Nicole as higher ranked understandably took the 'safe' option of pairing with Davis, whose singles ranking ensured she'd easily make the field.
