We've clearly got the initial one all British meeting, but otherwise the four matches are in the four different qualifying brackets.

Three wins needed to qualify or two in Ed's case. Again a bigger qualifier, so 5 points for qualifying though still 0 if not.

It is a big step up. Your easy games are the equivalent of the final rounds of a futures. It is great that he has made the step up at 18 but I agree the intensity will take some getting use to.

In terms of the ranking of the player he lost to it's not really a step up, it could just as easily have been a R1 opponent in a Futures. Agree that it will take time to step up to the level of Challengers as a whole though.

Roelofse just won his QR1 match 12-10 in a 3rd set breaker.  I am hoping he will be pretty tired when Ed plays him.
